Welcome to Hartland, Maine
Hartland, a small town of about 1,700 people, is located in central Maine, just an hour’s drive away from the state capitol in Augusta. Incorporated in February 1820, Hartland was the second to last town to be incorporated under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts before Maine became the 23rd state in the union. The town has two large bodies of water, Great Moose Lake and Morrill Pond, which provide ample opportunities for recreation all year round.
